Late 2023, we wanted to create something on a level we’ve not seen professionals in the wedding industry create yet. A Canon Event transcends expectations of the average wedding content event by offering a highly produced and story-driven experience not just for photographers, but for every participant—from vendors to assistants—eager to push creative boundaries.
This experience is now a proven, ever-evolving platform where diverse creative elements converge to intentionally empower attendees and top tier vendors to explore new artistic territories guided by a unique world building creative direction that goes beyond pretty photos.
This immersive editorial and collaborative journey features one of a kind art directions, narrative-driven execution, and inviting photography and videography attendees to direct and capture ideal prompts and poses.

OUR LATEST EVENT: HOUSTON, TX.
Wedding professionals from across the United States gathered in Houston, Texas to take part in A Canon Event an immersive experience seeking to inspire artistic collaboration in the luxury wedding industry. The two-day event was hosted at La Colombe d’Or and Chateau Nouvelle by South Carolina photographers Sarah Curfman of Sarah Elizabeth Photography (@sarah_elizabethphotog) and Anna Bullock of Anna Katherine Creative (@annakatherine.creative) with support from wedding planner Morgan Williams of Morgan Williams Weddings (@morganwilliamsweddings).
Fueled by a cinematic vision, the team conceptualized multiple complex fashion-forward scenes and encouraged all their vendors to prioritize nontraditional decision-making throughout their creative process.
A Canon Event provided vendors, cast members, videographers and photographers in attendance the opportunity to create and experience authentic narrative-driven moments and ambitious visual world building that seeks to reimagine the luxury wedding landscape for couples and wedding professionals everywhere.
Each Canon Event is designed to intentionally foster collaboration and innovation at a large production scale through singular, narrative-driven events across the country with our vendors, cast members, production leads and attendees.
